Nov. 2011 was fifth warmest November

Baltimore Sun reporter Candus Thomson offers this guest post:With an average monthly maximum temperature of 62 degrees, last month was the warmest November since 2001 registered 63.4 degrees, and the fifth warmest on record, the National Weather Service says. Only Nov. 18 failed to reach a daily maximum of 50 degrees.
Skies were partly cloudy (13 days), fair (10) and cloudy (7). It was drier than normal and the driest month since May. The outlook hasn’t changed for the next three months, with chances of above, normal or below temperatures and precipitation equally possible.
