Gone fishin'

Time again to take a break. Fishing by Bodine

With my favorite teacher now retired, we're free for the first time in 30 years to wander about in the autumn. So we're looking forward to seeing some old friends and new places, and taking time to read a book beside the water someplace.

Sounds great.

I've left a few posts behind to help fill the gap. Hopefully, others will add a few more.

We'll be back soon enough. Until then, you may talk amongst yourselves. - FR

Frank--just in case you're not back before this site goes to a pay site, let me say thanks for writing a blog that I enjoyed very much. Unfortunately, I will not be paying for my local news so our time together is short. Best of luck to you in the future!

Fair winds, and following seas, and congrats on that teacher retirement!

Your loyal readers will be here when you return, and I think I heard someone say that they won't even thrash the place while you're gone.

For Jeff: Based on the site address for Frank's blog posts (http://weblogs.marylandweather.com) I'm kinda hoping this won't fall under the baltimoresun.com pay system.

Enjoy your vacation Frank. Snow season's comin'...

Thanks Shawn! I hope you're right. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of information available about what will be for pay and what will not. I'll be bookmarking it though and we'll know soon enough. Cheers!
