Not to dismiss the threat of "violent weather," but I find myself wondering if Mr Pastelok has inherited Mr Bastardi's penchant for alarmist weather forecasting....

Are you going to cover European weather or just USA? Remember, many more people (and readers) live in Europe. It would be good to know because for me, reading about expectations in Alabama or Texas are pretty meaningless.
FR: As this is a blog called "Maryland Weather," our primary focus will be on local Maryland (USA) weather, where the vast majority of our readers live. And because we're on the East Coast, and most of our weather comes from continental North America, yes, we will pay more attention to US weather than European.
