Weather Underground is reporting a 30% chance of snowshowers / rain tonight. What's your take?
FR: Sorry to take so long. Been in NYC, where we awoke to snow this morning = less than an inch, but it made Central Park quite beautiful. I don't see much chance for recognizable snow tonight. There were some flurries to our north as we drove down I-95. But our best shot for a dusting looks like late tomorrow as another small disturbance rolls across the area from the west. Temps wil be colder, too. But they don't see more than an inch. Of course, an inch would more than double our snow for the season to date. Here's more from today's discussion:
"SNOW TOTALS FOR THE DAY...FROM LATE MRNG THRU LATE EVNG MONDAY
EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN AN INCH AREAWIDE /DC METRO AND POINTS SWD/.
THIS BASED OF THE LIGHT MODEL QPFS (moisture) AND GENERAL UNCERTAINTY IN AND
DISCONTINUITY W/ THIS NEW SOLUTION...BUT CERTAINLY ONE THAT WILL BE
MONITORED CLOSELY. NO ADZY (advisory) FOR THE METRO AREAS AS OF THIS FORECAST
PACKAGE...BUT STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES"
