I work near Good Sam Hospital and when I was leaving work about 4:45, I could see the wind blowing and the sky blackening. By the time I got downtown, the storm was chasing me. I managed to get a quick walk with the dog in before the skies opened up. It rained for a good 20 minutes.
I have a house guest from Atlanta where they're having a huge drought. She's amazed to see water features like fountains up and spouting.
