Big Bertha now a Cat. 3 storm
The National Hurricane Center says Bertha's top sustained winds have reached 115 mph, making it a "major" Cat. 3 storm on the Saffir-Simpson scale of hurricane intensity. If nothing else, this will be boosting the surf along the Altantic coast in the coming days.
