"On the other hand, I believe the long, low building at lower right is the state's troubled Juvenile Justice building. Maybe there's hope for the place, or at least its residents."
Pretty sure that's the main post office. See the trucks lined up like piglets on a sow at the bottom.
If those are "paddy wagons," we've _really_ got problems!
FR: Maybe you're right. Not an angle I've seen before.

Frank,
Congratulations on your daughter's pending nuptuals. May the day be full of rainbows (not rain) for your family's celebration. We'll all keep an eye out for storm clouds and do our best to blow them into another county for the whole day.
Have a wonderful party!
FR: Thanks! Looks like the heat may drive us indoors, but otherwise, all systems are GO!

May your daughter's wedding day be beautiful! I'll say a little prayer and keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain!
FR: Thanks to everyone for your good wishes. The weather cleared off beautifully. We stayed outdoors for the ceremony, under blue skies, and a fresh breeze. Everything went like clockwork. The thunderstorms arrived after we were indoors for the reception, and provided quite a light show out the windows. Back full-time Wednesday after we clear the house of guests. Cheers!

I am sure that this has been a bittersweet event for you, coming so soon after the death of your mother. I am sure you know that she was looking down and beaming on you all...
