Frosts and freezes tonight

There's more cold weather on tap tonight, with frost advisories from Baltimore south along the Western Shore, and freeze warnings posted for the northern and western suburbs.

Here's the map. I may have to turn on the furnace tonight. Drat! Anybody else still holding out?

Hi,

I tried but this old drafty house here in Baltimore just became too much. My furnace got started last night. It is later than in years past which were about two weeks earlier. Guess that "Might" offset our new higher energy prices.

I still have the bedroom windows open in Upper Fells Point..nice cool breeze is great for sleeping! They will close when the furnace kicks on (hopefully a bit before!)

My wife's breath steams if the temperature drops below 70F. So here in Woodstock, we've had the heat on a few times already.
