We dodge a bullet
Looks like clear sailing ahead once this cool, drippy weather moves out late today. All the snow and misery have tracked across the map to our north. Here's where AccuWeather thinks the snow will accumulate. It's already snowing in New York City. Here's what their forecast looks like, poor devils. I wouldn't want to be in Providence, RI, either. Or Binghamton, NY.
Here, we should see seasonable temperatures and clearing skies right through the weekend. Sunday looks especially nice.

Still holding out hope for a coastal storm on Monday :-)
BY SUN NGT AND MON A WEAK SYSTEM WILL DROP SE THROUGH THE OH VLY AND
COULD GENERATE SOME PRECIP ON MON AND MON NGT. SOME S/W ENERGY WILL
DIG INTO THE MID ATLC AND COASTAL NC THROUGH MON NGT...AND SOME
COASTAL ENHANCEMENT OF SOME KIND IS EXPECTED. AT THIS TIME THE GFS
IS BRINGING SOME DEVELOPMENT TO THE NC COAST MON NGT BUT STILL A LOT
OF UNCERTAINTY. TEMP PROFILE STILL LOOKS TO MAINLY SUPPORT FROZEN OR
SNOW FOR WHATEVER DVLPS. HAVE MENTIONED 20 POPS FOR MON/TUE FOR NOW
AND THIS WILL ALLOW US TO MONITOR THE NEXT COUPLE CYCLES FOR
CONSISTENCY. AT ANY RATE...MOS POPS ARE QUITE LOW FOR NOW.
