Katrina's trail of heavy rain

The National Hurricane Center has published rainfall accumulations from Hurricane Katrina. They're pretty impressive. Here are the worst-hits states:

Thanks for your kind sentiments. For those who don't read Spanish, I will draw on my very rusty Spanish skills and attempt a translation:
"I was just looking for a place where I could express my sympathies for those affected by Katrina, and my hope that better times will come soon for the people of New Orleans."
